  • Il Python ha la durata di riscaldamento più lunga su 128 GB di RAM,
  • JavaScript è il più lento complessivamente
  • Golang è il migliore tra i tre ma non in modo significativo

Un’opzione interessante è accelerare la funzione lambda Python aumentando la memoria, e allo stesso tempo la CPU. Penso che ridurrà solo il tempo di riscaldamento. Le chiamate a S3 non diventeranno meno latenti.

Nel test sintetico numeri primi di AWS - il costo di esecuzione della lambda Python è lo stesso usando 128 MB e 512 MB di limite di RAM, e le prestazioni della configurazione con 512 MB sono significativamente più veloci.

Cosa è AWS SAM

Stiamo utilizzando SAM per testare diverse funzioni lambda qui.

AWS SAM è un Serverless Application Model.

Il progetto AWS SAM include il modello AWS SAM e il codice della funzione. Il modello SAM descrive come deployare, eseguire e testare la funzione lambda, i permessi e altri parametri importanti per creare lo stack CloudFormation.

Per utilizzarlo abbiamo bisogno di aws cli e sam cli.

Installare AWS cli

Installare SAM cli

In sostanza - Scaricare il file zip del SAM cli installer dal sito di AWS, decomprimere e installare

unzip aws-sam-cli-linux-x86_64.zip -d sam-installation
sudo ./sam-installation/install

# controllare che SAM sia installato
sam --version

Pulire i file dell’installer

Creare le funzioni lambda

Eseguendo tre volte lo script

sam init

e selezionando ogni volta il template hello-world, ma diversi linguaggi, creiamo 3 applicazioni SAM
