Python heeft de langste warm-up tijd op 128GB RAM,
JavaScript is het langzaamst in het geheel
Golang is het beste van de drie, maar niet significant

Interessante optie is om de python lambda functie te versnellen door meer geheugen, en tegelijkertijd CPU. Dit zal alleen de warmup tijd verminderen, denk ik. Aanroepen naar S3 zal niet minder latent worden.

In de synthetische prime numbers test door AWS - de kosten van het uitvoeren van een Python lambda is hetzelfde als het gebruik van 128MB en 512MB RAM limiet, en de prestaties van de 512MB instelling zijn aanzienlijk sneller.

Wat is de AWS SAM

We gebruiken SAM om verschillende lambda functies te testen hier.

AWS SAM is een Serverless Application Model.

Het AWS SAM project bevat de AWS SAM template en de functie code. SAM template beschrijft hoe je deployt, runt en test de lambda functie, permissies en andere belangrijke parameters voor het maken van de CloudFormation stack.

Om dit te gebruiken hebben we aws cli en sam cli nodig.

Installeer AWS cli

Installeer SAM cli

In principe - Haal de SAM cli installer zip op van de AWS site, onpak en installeer

unzip aws-sam-cli-linux-x86_64.zip -d sam-installation
sudo ./sam-installation/install

Het maken van de lambda functies

Roep de script drie keer aan

sam init

en selecteer elke keer de hello-world template, maar verschillende talen, we creëren 3 sam applicaties

Om precies te zijn - maak test aanroepen, niet voer unit tests uit.

De sam build commando is binnen de Makefile. Dus we voeren uit:
